As they say: third time’s a charm, and this year’s Cherrity Pie Festival is charmed with the promise of total fun and excitement for the whole family! Our fall festival is an important fundraiser for Denver’s Anchor Center for Blind Children (CO Tax I.D. 84-0893509), an amazing nonprofit organization dedicated to providing early intervention and education for blind and visually impaired children, throughout the state of Colorado. Their staff of highly trained vision specialists, therapists and teachers strive to foster the full potential of these children by providing exemplary education, therapy and family support services.

With our company name being Pie Consulting & Engineering, the theme of our fundraiser is again “all things pie”. We’ll be serving fresh fruit pie to everyone, and are very pleased to announce that Village Inn Pies is again on board as our pie sponsor!

We have designed an event that celebrates the generosity of Colorado Businesses while providing a super fun experience for the entire family. To this end, we’ll be featuring all kinds of exciting activities including a Pie Baking Competition, Pie Eating Contest, Pie Walk, lots of cool educational games, a big bouncer castle, a real fire truck for the kids to climb on, and even a mini-train. We’ll also have music, face painting and balloon art, relay races and special prizes. All of this, plus a delicious lunch and pie dessert will be included with your festival ticket. Take advantage of the exciting offerings in this year’s Silent Auction, including cool sports memorabilia, terrific products and services from local businesses, restaurants and hotels, and more.

We’re thrilled that this year’s event is being held at the Anchor Center’s wonderful, state-of-the-art facility. Attendees and sponsors will get a first-hand look at how their donations will be used to greatly improve the lives of Anchor Center students. Last year’s benefit raised $25,000 in charitable funding; our goal this year is $30,000. Your participation will be a valuable contribution!
