Pie Bakeoff Winner’s Peach Pie Recipe
The pie Bakeoff had a number of entries, but after the smoke cleared, and judges set their plastic forks to the side, there was only one winner…and here is their glorious recipe:
The Winning Peach Pie Recipe:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 sticks cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1/4 to 1/2 cup ice water
process flour and butter in food processor until butter is chopped to

Drizzle in water, with the machine on, until dough comes together.
I have a small food processor and I did this as 2 separate recipes.
6 cups peeled and sliced peaches
3/4 cup sugar
2 T flour
2 T Butter
Combine sugar and flour.
Pour Amaretto over peaches.
Toss peaches in sugar flour mixture
Pour into shell
Dot with butter
Add top crust.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Vent crust with several holes.
Bake 350 35-45 min
“We did not like the recipes we were working with so we made it up along the way. Growing up our Grand Mother in Iowa baked amazing pies and then our Mother. We were alwys there for holidays and it must have rubbed off”.
